A global technology company is seeking an IT Application Owner for Finance Applications in Turin, Piedmont. In this role, you will manage finance application projects, ensuring stability and performance while collaborating with international teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong IT background, particularly in project management and SAP systems, and possess excellent problem-solving skills. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of German is a plus.

Overview

IT Application Owner - Finance Applications at Accelleron. The role leads end-to-end project management for finance-related information systems, covering SAP ERP and non-SAP applications, and drives automation and AI initiatives to increase operational efficiency. You will own key finance applications and collaborate with international teams to shape the future of finance technology across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Application Ownership for Non-ERP Tools: Oversee the end-to-end management of finance applications, with a primary focus on APOC (Accounts Payables on Cloud) and other applications in accounting, controlling, tax, and treasury. Ensure stability, performance, and security of finance applications, and proactively address risks.
• User Support & Issue Resolution: Provide ongoing end-user support, troubleshoot interface issues with SAP ERP, and coordinate with SAP CPI and SAP FI-CO technical teams. Manage resolution with vendors and internal IT teams for functional, infrastructure, security, and connectivity challenges.
• IS Project Management for Finance Applications: Lead end-to-end project management for finance-related IS initiatives, including SAP ERP and non-SAP applications. Define scopes, timelines, deliverables, ensure alignment with business objectives, and coordinate technical teams while gathering requirements from finance stakeholders.
• Automation and AI Leadership: Lead projects focused on automation and AI to optimize finance processes, working with finance business partners to identify and implement efficiency-enhancing solutions.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage third-party vendor relationships, ensure performance aligns with contracts, and act as a liaison between finance stakeholders and IT to align application capabilities with business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in project management and application ownership roles focused on finance applications.
• Proven expertise in leading IS projects for SAP ERP (ECC and S/4HANA) and non-SAP finance applications.
• Experience in automation and AI-driven projects to enhance finance process efficiency.
• Strong technical proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC, with hands-on troubleshooting experience.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including managing multiple priorities and cross-functional projects.
• Deep understanding of finance-related software, cloud-based solutions, and IT infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for complex technical and operational challenges.
• Knowledge of security, compliance, and risk management in finance applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional, virtual, and international teams.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented with a customer-focused mindset.
• Fluency in English; German is an asset.
