Chiesi, a global biopharmaceutical group headquartered in Parma, seeks an IT Application Manager & Functional Business Analyst – Finance. You will translate finance needs into IT solutions, own application lifecycles, and drive governance across accounting and treasury domains.

You will partner with Finance and PPM teams, analyze requirements, and help define to-be processes while ensuring stability, compliance, and measurable adoption of finance applications.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in IT roles, preferably as functional analyst and/or application manager.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other scientific disciplines.
• English minimum B2 level.
• Solid knowledge of finance and accounting processes and their governance, adoption and lifecycle management.
• Proven experience in PPM tools (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira,..)
• Strong analytical skills, proactive mindset and ability to work in international teams.
• Clear communication and customer-oriented approach.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving attitude.

Who we are looking for

This is what you will do

The IT Application Manager & Functional Business Analyst – Finance partners with Finance stakeholders (Accounting, Controlling and Treasury) and Project Portfolio Management teams to translate business needs into effective IT solutions. The role focuses on functional analysis, application ownership and solution evolution, with limited involvement in project activities mainly related to feasibility studies.

You will be responsible for

• Act as a trusted IT partner for Finance stakeholders.

You will need to have

We would prefer for you to have

• Functional experience on SAP S/4HANA (FI, CO, TR)

Location

Parma Headquarters with occasional international travel (up to 10%)

Compensation Range

The minimum salary for this role is €46.800, aligned to our established salary framework. The final offer will reflect the candidate’s skills, experience,qualificationsand internal equity considerations.

This role is eligible toparticipatein an annual bonus scheme, subject to company and individual performance.

In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including pension, private medical insurance, wellbeing programme, flexible benefits programme.
