BB&E Consulting Engineers and Professionals seeks an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support NAVSATCOMFAC at Lago Patria, Italy. The ISSO will implement and maintain the cybersecurity program, ensuring DoD/Navy/DISA/DCWF compliance and collaboration with Government personnel across mission-critical satellite systems.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years as an ISSO, active Secret clearance, US citizenship, and hands-on experience with RMF, vulnerability management, and

Competenze

• Minimum three (3) years within the last five (5) years serving as an ISSO or civilian equivalent.
• Experience designing and implementing cybersecurity solutions that identify, protect, detect, respond to, and recover from cyber threats.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, security planning, threat analysis, testing, and vulnerability management.
• Three to five (3-5) years leading cybersecurity teams.
• Active Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Mansioni

• Serve as the primary cybersecurity point of contact for ISSMs and COR.
• Oversee implementation and sustainment of the site's Cybersecurity Program.
• Ensure compliance with DoD, Navy, DISA, RMF, and DCWF requirements.
• Manage documentation, compliance reporting, audits, and vulnerability remediation.
• Coordinate vulnerability management including ACAS scans, IAVA, patches, STIGs, and config control.
• Maintain system security plans and related documentation; develop CPCON plans.
• Provide cybersecurity support for SATCOM, Teleport, and related networks.
• Lead planning and supervision of daily cybersecurity operations; support inspections and audits.
• Ensure continued compliance with classified information handling requirements.
