ABB is seeking a Senior IS Solution Architect / Project Manager to design scalable, secure software across front‑end and back‑end layers. You will translate business needs into robust technical requirements and drive clean‑code practices within a cross‑functional team.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Experience as a Solution Architect or similar role with knowledge of the C4 model is preferred.
• Strong frontend (ReactJS, jQuery) and backend (C#, .NET) expertise, plus modern DevOps tooling.

Specialista Senior / Project Manager

As an IS Solution Architect at ABB, you will design scalable, secure software solutions across front-end and back-end layers. You will translate business needs into robust technical requirements and drive clean-code practices within a cross-functional environment. With hands‑on experience in ReactJS, .NET, and modern DevOps tooling, you’ll influence architectural decisions and elevate development standards. This role blends technical leadership with collaboration to deliver high‑impact solutions that support ABB’s industrial digital initiatives. You will operate in a hybrid setup based in Bergamo and play a key part in shaping scalable, reliable software in a global company.

• Design and architect scalable, secure software solutions using modern front‑end and back‑end technologies, including messaging queues
• Stay informed on new technologies and industry trends to enhance development practices
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to turn business needs into technical requirements
• Promote high code quality through clean‑code principles, code reviews, and automated testing
• Develop and maintain applications using ReactJS and jQuery on the frontend and C#/.NET Framework 4.8 / .NET 10 on the backend
• Work with AzureDB, MSSQL and PostgreSQL to build and optimize databases
• Contribute to DevOps strategy with Azure, Google Cloud, and tools like Rancher, Sentry, ArgoCD, Terraform, Datadog to improve deployment and monitoring
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience as a Solution Architect or similar role with use of C4 model diagrams
• Strong frontend development: ReactJS and jQuery (Angular is a plus)
• Backend expertise: C#, Visual Basic, .NET Framework 4.8 / .NET 10, and messaging queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Familiarity with AzureDB, MSSQL and PostgreSQL; knowledge of configuration engines (e.g., Rulestream) is a plus
• Proactive mindset with passion for innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement
• Strong understanding of clean code principles and modern software practices
• Excellent communication; ability to work in an inclusive, collaborative team
• Fluent in Italian and English; Polish a plus
