As an Investment Banking Associate, you can expect to work on large-cap M&A, Equity Capital Markets and Leveraged Finance origination and execution assignments for Italian, European and global clients.

Qualifications

• Excellent academic record (e.g. First-Class Honours) with bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering or similar fields.
• Extensive full-time experience in Investment Banking and/or Private Equity is required.
• Proven technical skills including financial modelling, financial analysis and understanding of valuation methodologies, with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work on large-cap M&A, Equity Capital Markets and Leveraged Finance origination and execution assignments.
• Evaluate companies, perform financial analyses and develop models for transactions.
• Prepare industry statistics for pitches and assist in live deal execution.
• Attend team discussions and client meetings and deliver parts of presentations.

We deliver M&A advisory across mergers, divestitures, acquisitions, public takeovers, defence advisory and dual-track IPOs, as well capital markets solutions across Equity Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance and Debt Capital Markets.

As an Investment Banking Associate, you can expect to work on large-cap M&A, Equity Capital Markets and Leveraged Finance origination and execution assignments. Tasks may include evaluating companies, perform financial analyses, developing models for M&A transactions, preparing industry statistics for pitches, or getting involved in the execution of live deals.

Responsibilities

• Working on a variety of complex projects for leading Italian, European and global clients.
• Opportunity to contribute to the development of new ideas to help clients achieve their strategic and financial objectives.
• Conduct detailed valuation analysis and other financial analysis, including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables, LBO analysis and transaction structuring.
• Project management and involvement in execution of live transactions and pitches.
• Attend team discussions and client meetings and be able to deliver parts of a presentation.
• Interact with various sectors and product teams across the bank, both locally and abroad.
• Support senior bankers in origination and coverage efforts.
• Contribute positively to franchise building activities.
• Engage in regional networking and Talent Development offerings.

Skills

• Excellent academic record (e.g. First-Class Honours, or equivalent) supported by a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering or similar fields.
• Extensive relevant full-time experience in Investment Banking and/or Private Equity is required.
• Proven technical skills including financial modelling, financial analysis and understanding of valuation methodologies, with high level of attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) and fluent in English and Italian.
• Strong proficiency with financial analytics software and Microsoft suite of products.
• Commercial instinct, demonstrable passion for finance and capital markets with an affinity for numbers.
• Results-driven, perform well under pressure and against tight deadlines.
• Team players with ability to manage a wide range of responsibilities and contribute to the success of the franchise.
