RINA in Rome is seeking an Internship - Junior Verification & Validation Engineer to join the Operating Engine Division. You will be trained across test planning, execution, and documentation to validate software functionality.

The role focuses on learning avionics testing methodologies, analyzing requirements, and preparing test reports, under supervision. A Bachelor in CS and a Master in Aerospace (or related) are preferred.

Competenze

• Knowledge of programming languages (C/C++) and scripting.
• Familiarity with software development and testing methodologies and tools.
• Enthusiasm for learning avionics technology and testing concepts.

• Assist in test planning and strategy, including analysis of requirements and test cases for validation.

Rina is currently recruiting for an Internship - Junior Verification & Validation Engineer in Rome.

Key Accountabilities

The candidate will be trained on:

• Test planning and strategy: analysis of the requirements and test cases definition for functional/performance validation activities
• Testing execution: verification of the correct software functionality
• Documentation: prepare and maintain test documentation (e.g. test descriptions, test reports, test summaries)

Qualifications

• Knowledge of programming languages (C/C++)
• Familiarity in writing programming scripts
• Basic knowledge of software development and testing methodologies and tools
• Enthusiasm in learning new knowledge in the avionics sector

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
• Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Other

Compensation Data

The internship is designed as a training and orientation experience and, as such, provides a monthly allowance in accordance with applicable regional regulations and Company policies.
