Pirelli is seeking an Internship Data Scientist in Milano to gain hands-on experience with data from sensors, telemetry, and manufacturing. You will apply statistical analysis and machine-learning techniques in a fast-paced environment.

Join the Data Science team to learn end-to-end project lifecycle, translate business questions into models, and present data insights to other functions across R&D, manufacturing, sales and marketing.

You will join the Data Science team, involved in activities aimed to solve problems and deliver value across R&D, manufacturing, sales & marketing and connected tyres. This internship offers hands-on experience, providing the opportunity to apply statistical analysis and machine-learning techniques to a wide range of data (from sensors, to telemetry, to manufacturing) and in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

• Participate in the lifecycle of data science projects, from ideation to deployment, gaining hands-on experience with end-to-end product development.
• Translate business questions into data science problems and identify appropriate way to turn complex problems into manageable ones.
• Contribute to the development of data-driven solutions for defined areas such as R&D and Manufacturing.
• Analyse the business needs and develop appropriate code to then develop, tune, and deploy predictive models.
• Create presentation about data insights and technical concepts to be presented to other functions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
