Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH in Milan is offering a 6-month curricular internship in Corporate Affairs, combining communications and governmental affairs. You will work with internal and external stakeholders, co-create initiatives, and join cross-functional and international teams to learn how to integrate communication and public relations.

The role focuses on media coverage analysis, event organization, and content creation for multiple channels.

Competenze

• University degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing or related area.
• Native Italian and fluent English.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office.

By joining the Corporate Affairs division you will have the unique opportunity to be part of a fully integrated team including Communication and Governmental Affairs.

You will be involved in the set up and carry out of Boehringer Ingelheim’s internal communication strategy and will be introduced to Animal Health and Human Pharma communications activities and local events, multichannel planning and editorial implementation. Furthermore, you will learn the peculiarities of communication in the pharmaceutical sector.

You will have the chance to co-create initiatives, events, and communication plans which you will also contribute to implement. Within your internship you will be asked to join cross-functional teams and international hybrid meetings in order to share and learn from colleagues from other functions and countries. Finally, you will have the chance to learn how to integrate communication and institutional relations, gaining qualifying expertise.

Tasks & what you will be learning:

• Build analyses of media coverage and communication outcomes, supporting reputation management activities.
• Support the development of media plans, communication toolkits, and the organization of internal and external events.
• Create and adapt communication content for different channels and audiences, including articles, news stories, newsletters, presentations, speeches, and other editorial materials.
• Develop visual communication assets such as slides, infographics, images, and digital content to support internal and external communication initiatives.
• Support press office activities, including media monitoring, preparation of press materials, media list management.
• Be part of the strategic creative process, contributing ideas and helping shape engaging communication campaigns and initiatives.
• Support the implementation of our social media strategy.
• Co-create original formats for internal communication.

Requirements:

• University Degree preferably in Communication, Journalism, Marketing or related areas (Master in Communication or Social Media Management is a plus).
• Languages: Native level of Italian and Fluent English.
• Good knowledge of Ms Office.
• Strong passion for Digital and Social Medias.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Any knowledge of press offices/ event organization/ journalism is considered a plus.
• Out-of-the-box thinking and team playing.
• Ambition to work in a international environment.
