A global semiconductor leader is seeking an intern in Test Systems Development, based in Milano, Italy. The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering program and has strong programming skills, as well as experience with hardware troubleshooting and lab equipment. Responsibilities include assisting in the development of automated test solutions and tracking project schedules. This internship provides hands-on experience in a dynamic, technical environment, alongside impactful projects with experienced professionals.

Competenze

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor/Master of Science degree program in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or similar.
  • Strong programming skills with C, C++ or VBA.
  • Experience in hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of statistical methods and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of statistics and data analysis methods.

The assignment will have a focus on Automotive Power, LED Lighting or USB integrated circuits. Applicant must be goal oriented, self-driven, have high professional standards and be able to work individually or as part of a team. Duties will include: Helping test engineers in the development of automated test system solutions on analog and mixed-signal volume production automatic testers. Involvement in all phases of semiconductor development including design for testability, test hardware (PCB) and software design, debug, characterization, and release to manufacturing. Responsible for completing, documenting and tracking project schedules and communicating the results.Minimum Qualifications:* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor/Master of Science degree program in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or similar.* Strong programming skills. Experience with C, C++ or VBA is preferred.* Component-level circuit design skills.* Good hardware and software trouble-shooting skills.* Understanding of statistical methods and data analysis tools.* Experience with lab equipment including Oscilloscope, Power Supplies, and DVM. Soldering skills a plus.*For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
