For a Client Company, we are looking for a Temporary QHSE professional, familiar with the Oil and Gas sector, to build and maintain a customer-driven QHSE management process.
We're looking for someone available from September for a 12-month fixed-term contract. We're open to both direct employment (fixed-term) and freelance collaboration (P.IVA).
Responsibilities
- Determine the direction and work priorities (in conjunction with line management) for continuous improvement;
- Ensure compliance with legal and corporate requirements related to QHSE;
- Take full responsibility for company preparations for annual H&S audits and quality assurance management programs and systems;
- Monitor HSE training for all employees throughout the UK organization;
- Act as the focal point for customer, ASP, and third-party quality audits;
- Maintain Quality Management System, Procedures, and Work Instructions;
- Perform quality control checks on supplier/contractor processes to ensure materials and workmanship meet specifications and company standards;
- Maintain procedures for customer complaints, satisfaction, and corrective actions, including root cause analysis and preventive measures;
- Conduct audits of management systems, processes, approved suppliers, and outsourced integrations;
- Facilitate and develop the Continuous Improvement Process, including preparing management reports;
- Identify, develop, and implement quality tools and techniques.
Your Profile
For this role, you will need
- Educated to HNC and/or Degree level in SHEQ fields or equivalent;
- IOSH accreditation is highly desirable;
- Experience operating within a SHEQ role or similar is crucial;
- Relevant membership to recognized Quality Institutes and knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards;
- Proven track record of performing industry-recognized audits, implementing programs, and dealing with internal/external customers and contractors/suppliers;
- Ability and willingness to travel to other Emerson locations and client sites to fulfill role requirements;
- Proficiency in Italian and English;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- University Degree in Engineering or Health and Safety related fields;
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position;
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and RSPP qualifications;
- Risk management and assessment skills.
We offer:
- Fixed-term contract for 12 months (covering maternity leave);
- Gross annual salary range: €55,000 - €65,000.
