Talent Solutions , part of Manpower Group, for an important pharmaceutical client based in Florence , is currently recruiting for a

Senior Integration Engineer

to lead the implementation, migration and operational excellence of our next-generation middleware platform : Boomi. This role will be pivotal in managing interface migration, establishing development standards, and ensuring secure and scalable integration across global systems (SAP ECC / S4, MDM, CRM, MES, BI etc.). He will be also the owner of the management of other integration systems as SAP PI / PO, ODI, BTP CPI that will be maintained within the migration to the new middleware.

MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the technical implementation of the new iPaaS platform (Boomi or equivalent), including environment setup (dev / staging / prod), governance, and best practices.
• Lead or support the migration of more than one thousand existing interfaces from SAP PI / PO / ODI, (working with external partners).
• Collaborate with architecture, security, and business teams to define integration design patterns, interface lifecycles, and documentation standards.
• Configure, develop, and deploy integration workflows (recipes / flows) across systems like SAP, CRM, MDM and MES.
• Implement automated testing, monitoring, and alerting solutions for integration health and performance.
• Participate in Change Advisory Boards (CABs) and project steering meetings.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise integration platforms (Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato, SAP, Oracle etc.)
• Solid understanding of SAP (ECC / S4), API integration, data formats (JSON, XML), and protocols (HTTP, SOAP, REST).
• Experience in large-scale middleware migrations.
• Experience in Project Management
• Knowledge on DBMS, Networking, Infrastructure Systems
• Familiarity with pharma GxP, GDPR, and secure data processing standards.

Preferred

• Boomi Professional Certification
• Familiarity with Veeva, Salesforce, SAP, or MDM tools.
• Italian language skills (a plus but not mandatory).
• Experience in regulated industries (pharma, healthcare, finance).
