Job summary

Tecnimont, MAIRE’s flagship company for Integrated E&C solutions, seeks an Instrumentation Design Methodology Specialist to join the team in Catania, Italy. You will support design activities using SmartPlant Instrumentation and SmartPlant Material while coordinating with Project Leaders and Engineers.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical discipline.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Availability to travel within Italy and abroad.

Responsibilities

• Set up instrumentation software tools according to CAE Execution Plan guidelines to ensure data consistency.
• Configure SmartPlant Instrumentation or equivalent tool to meet contractual requirements and project schedule.
• Prepare project specifications for SmartPlant Instrumentation or equivalent tool.
• Set up Typical Loops, Hook-ups, CV calculation modules and intrinsically safe circuits.
• Support quality checks on the SmartPlant Instrumentation database during project execution.
• Maintain coding system for bulk and itemized instrumentation materials within SmartPlant Material.
• Process Material Requisitions via SmartPlant Material.
• Prepare, maintain and archive electronic copies of complete projects.
• Support updating operating standards for instrumentation design methodologies.
• Share knowledge with Engineers and Project Leaders on new methodologies and tools.
• Explore AI opportunities to improve efficiency of SmartPlant workstreams.
