Job summary

Trillium Flow Technologies in Nova Milanese is seeking an Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join our After Market team. You will design, develop, and install monitoring and control equipment for centrifugal pumps, and prepare project documentation across bid, detailed engineering and execution.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, at least two years’ experience, familiarity with field instrumentation, CAD (AutoCAD) and PLM tools, and strong English skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in similar roles.
• Familiarity with field specifications and instrumentation relevant to rotating machinery monitoring.
• Proficient command of English (written and spoken).
• Experience with CAD systems (AutoCAD at minimum), PLM tools, and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Define standard equipment costs for pump monitoring systems per API 610 and support sales activities for special quotations.
• Determine the scope of supply for instrumentation and control systems for pump monitoring during project execution per specifications.
• Produce essential order documentation including P&ID, wiring diagrams, instrument datasheets, instrument lists, logic diagrams, and I/O lists.
• Issue material requisitions compliant with technical specs and assist procurement during purchasing processes.
• Develop specifications and best practices for execution and installation of electrical plants.
• Coordinate third‑party contractors for electrical plant installation with production.

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join our After Market team in Nova Milanese. This role involves designing, developing, and installing equipment used for monitoring and controlling centrifugal pumps. The successful candidate will prepare and review project documentation, material requisitions, and drawings related to monitoring instrumentation on pump skids throughout bidding, detailed engineering, and project execution phases.

Main Responsibilities

• Define standard equipment costs for pump monitoring systems in accordance with API 610 standards and support sales activities for special quotations.
• Determine the scope of supply for instrumentation and control systems required for pump monitoring during project execution, aligned with project specifications.
• Produce essential order documentation including P&ID, wiring diagrams, instrument datasheets, instrument lists, logic diagrams, and I/O lists.
• Issue material requisitions compliant with technical specifications and assist the procurement department during component purchasing processes.
• Develop specifications and best practices necessary for the execution and installation of electrical plants.
• Coordinate activities of third-party contractors involved in electrical plant installation in collaboration with the production department.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of two years’ experience in similar roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with field specifications and instrumentation relevant to rotating machinery monitoring such as temperature probes, accelerometers, and proximity probes.

• Experience with CAD systems (AutoCAD at minimum), PLM tools, and standard office software packages.

Compensation
