Our Avnet Silica Inside Sales team in Milan is looking for an Inside Sales Representative Apprentice!

As an ISR apprentice you will get a chance to kickstart your sales career while earning and learning. This is a hands‑on role where you will support the team combining inside sales and customer service to sell products, services and solutions to new and existing customers through a variety of inbound and outbound multimedia communications (e.g., telephone, email, portals).

What You Will Be Doing
  • Deliver solutions or finds new opportunities for a positive customer experience.
  • Initiate and answer sales inquiries.
  • Promptly and accurately respond to customer information requests.
  • Monitor/follow up on sales activities throughout the process from initial contact to order fulfillment.
  • Working in a team environment, share sales efforts and strategies with internal resources and suppliers.
  • Support customer requirements for inventories, delivery lead time and unit prices.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Level Specifications
  • You will acquire sales skills through work experience and formal training to perform daily tasks.
  • Tasks are routine, repetitive and manual in nature with minimal complexity or variation and specific to the job.
  • Work is performed under supervision with detailed instructions. Priorities are provided for performing work.
  • You will interact mostly with immediate peers within assigned team. Based on nature of the role, may respond to requests from others in the organization.
What We Are Looking For
  • High School Diploma or University Degree.
  • To be eligible for an apprentice contract, candidates must be under 30 years of age.
  • Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English and Italian.
  • Excellent communication skills.
