Job summary

AvioAero in Italy seeks a Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineer to shape test rigs and enable hardware development. You will translate system requirements into robust designs, analyze concepts with CAD tools, and collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to ensure on-time, high-quality results.

You will bring a Master’s in mechanical/aero engineering with strong knowledge of CAD, dynamics, and PLM. Fluency in English and Italian is essential for cross-functional work.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mechanical/aeronautical engineering.
• Experience in designing complex mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of mechanics of materials and hand calculations.
• Experience with advanced CAD (NX/Teamcenter preferred).
• Familiarity with PLM and stress/rotor dynamics basics.
• Fluent in English and Italian, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Capture system requirements and translate into test rig design.
• Design, analyze and evaluate mechanical test enabling hardware.
• Create and develop new mechanical design concepts using CAD.
• Support plans to meet technical, schedule and contract needs.
• Document technical data per policies and procedures.
• Participate as presenter/reviewer in reviews.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and suppliers to ensure on-time, quality hardware.
