ManpowerGroup Talent Solutions is supporting a client in Mantova to fill a permanent, full-time role as Industrial Services Utilities Leader. The position covers management of mechanical, electrical and plumbing utilities for the factory, including steam, HVAC, water treatment and power distribution.

The candidate will lead a team, drive energy and cost efficiency, and coordinate with contractors and Central Engineering to ensure safe, compliant operation and continuous improvement.

Competenze

• 5+ years experience in industrial services engineering in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience operating or supervising large combustion systems (gas boilers) or similar
• Experience with P&ID (piping instrumentation diagrams)
• Experience with AHU, chillers, fire protection, water/steam systems, BMS, electrical equipment
• Engineering degree or diploma with practical engineering experience
• Fluency in Italian and English required

Position Summary

Responsible for ensuring competent industrial services (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing - MEP) management and operation, and to ensure optimal cost, highly eicient, quality and sustained generation and distribution of utilities for the factory operation. i.e. steam, refrigeration, water and eluent treatment, hygienic air handling, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) and compressed air, as well as electricity, high voltage, medium voltage, low voltage.

Duties

Ensures that personnel managing, operating and maintaining industrial services plant and infrastructure are competent to do so. Ensures that competency assessment and competency building plans are in place, routinely reviewed and executed for the Industrial Services team.

Plans, performs and manages design, modification and improvements to industrial services plant, equipment and infrastructure. Utilising own area of competency and specialisation or with competent 3rd parties.

Supports operation of industrial services to ensure high eficiency, quality and

compliance. Assists in the budgeting and cost monitoring of industrial services.

Identifies and drives energy and water saving opportunities.

Manages quality, environmental and internal and external compliance requirements for industrial services through management and monitoring processes and collaboration with the general contractor(s) and other trade contractors, suppliers, designers and consultants, and Central Engineering.

Ensures process and personnel safety with regard to industrial services plant and equipment. From design coordination and execution to installation, commissioning and hand over to routine and periodic safety inspections and audits.

Requirements

Experience in Industrial Services engineering disciplines, related to manufacturing environment (5+ years)

Experience operating or supervising others who operate heating pressure systems (gas boilers) or other large combustion systems (steam, hot water).

Experience in P&ID (piping instrumentation diagram)

Experience in industrial plants: AHU, chillers, fire protection systems, water and steam generation, water treatment, BMS and electrical equipments.

• Engineering Degree / Diploma (e.g. mechanical, electrical) and substantial practical experience in engineering
• Knowledge of construction and utilities standards, local regulatory and statutory requirements relating to industrial services and environment
• Fluency in Italian and English is required.
