Your Responsibilities
  • Executing the procurement process to ensure on‑time, cost‑optimized, efficient delivery of goods and services as per identified demands and requirements
  • Sourcing, selecting and evaluating suppliers based on Alpitronic strategic criteria
  • Ensuring most efficient and precise execution and documentation of all procurement transactions according to applicable processes, Alpitronic policies and best practices (e.g. Framework Agreements, e‑Procurement catalogues, online auctions, etc.)
  • Processing of purchase requisitions and making enquiries/RFQs to obtain offers
  • Performing offer comparisons, preparing and conducting negotiations in line with applicable approval procedures
  • Placing purchase orders in line with applicable approval procedures and initiating procurement transactions using available ERP/IT systems and processes, including responsibility for issuing change orders if required
  • Monitoring and expediting supply execution, updating accordingly the information in the ERP system if necessary
  • Tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve procurement department effectiveness and added value
  • Coordinating and supporting internal stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure smooth and effective procurement processes
Your Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, supply chain or related field
  • Proven experience as a buyer or in a similar procurement role as a plus
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in using and understanding ERP systems
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Fluent knowledge of English and Italian (spoken and written); knowledge of German is considered a plus
