Job summary

Intertek Italia seeks an experienced Owner's Engineering Services leader for Civil & Industrial Construction. This role will build an independent OE advisory offering and deliver it to EPC contractors, investors, lenders and asset owners across Europe and the UK.

The candidate will combine hands-on engineering expertise with service design, governance, and market-facing responsibilities, ensuring techncial excellence and independence in complex projects such as data centers and processing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil or industrial engineering is required.
12–15 years of civil/industrial construction experience.
Proven Owner's Engineer or lender's technical advisor delivery to clients.
Strong background in data centers, industrial plants, or large infrastructure.
Ability to set up advisory services, including methodologies and governance.

Responsibilities

Design a standardized Owner's Engineer service portfolio for external delivery.
Define service scope, deliverables, and interfaces for EPCs, investors and lenders.
Develop SOPs, governance models, and quality assurance frameworks.
Establish stage-gate reviews across project lifecycles and ensure independence.
Provide technical oversight, risk mitigation, and advisory support to clients.
Mentor staff, build templates, and represent the firm at industry events.
