Income Auditor & General Cashier – Corinthia Rome

As Corinthia prepares to open its doors in the heart of Rome, we are assembling a team of professionals who share our passion for craftsmanship, excellence, and gracious service. We are now seeking an Income Auditor & General Cashier to join our Finance team.

Responsibilities
  • Analyzing and verifying all revenue transactions from departments including Rooms, F&B, Spa, and other outlets
  • Preparing and distributing the Daily Revenue Report with accuracy and timeliness
  • Uploading daily revenue and statistics journals into SUN System, ensuring all revenues are captured and balanced
  • Inspecting all supporting documentation to confirm the integrity of management reports
  • Reconciling credit card and other payment methods with PMS systems
  • Preparing rebates, voids, complimentary and allowance summaries for management approval
  • Monitoring rate changes, discounts, and adjustments for proper authorization
  • Conducting daily income audits and reconciling sales and payments by department
  • Preparing monthly financial reports and assisting in audits and statements
  • Ensuring compliance with financial policies and internal control procedures
  • Working closely with operational departments to ensure accurate recording of all income-related transactions
Who We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within luxury hospitality
  • Proven expertise in hotel accounting and point-of-sale systems
  • Fluency in English and Italian (written and spoken)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • High level of confidentiality and attention to detail
  • Degree in Economics or related field
  • Knowledge of Sun System, Opera Cloud, Simphony, Book4Time, and Adaco is a plus
  • Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and the legal right to work in Italy
