Job summary

BlueCare is seeking a Personal Carer to provide in-home support in Dalby and surrounding areas. You will visit clients, assist with daily activities, personal care, meals, housekeeping and transportation to appointments, delivering care in line with each Care Plan.

Applicants must have a current Australian Driver's Licence and a roadworthy, insured vehicle. Training is funded to complete Certificate III in Individual Support while working, with government funding provided to cover costs.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum) required.
• Vehicle to use for work must be roadworthy and insured (Third Party Property minimum).
• Experience with technology including smartphones and tablets.
• Ability to meet probity checks required by legislation or policies.

Responsibilities

• Spending time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities.
• In home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing.
• Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan.
• Supporting with community based recreational and social activities.
• Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.
