Job summary

The CNR - ISTI Research Field is seeking a researcher to carry out R&D in probabilistic computer vision and multimodal data analysis, designing algorithms to interpret indoor/outdoor scenes by integrating signals with physiological data.

Offer Description

The candidate will carry out R&D in probabilistic computer vision and multimodal data analysis, designing advanced algorithms to interpret complex indoor/outdoor scenarios by integrating environmental signals with physiological and motor data. Specifically, the researcher will:

• Develop bio-inspired and probabilistic AI models for uncertainty quantification in pattern recognition, using generative AI where applicable;
• Implement Computer Vision solutions oriented toward inclusion and human activity/behavior monitoring;
• Experiment with Explainable AI (XAI) techniques to ensure transparency and trustworthiness in data processing;
• Disseminate results through scientific publications and international workshops, in line with the IMAGINE project objectives.
