GECAL INFORMATICA Srl and ALTAIR SYSTEMS Group in Bologna seeks an IIoT Platform Engineer to support digital manufacturing initiatives, working with Digital Engineering, IT/OT, Manufacturing, and external vendors on IIoT project delivery. Based in Bologna with a hybrid model, onsite presence is required during testing, installation, and commissioning.
This freelance role offers an indicative daily rate of €230-240.
Competenze
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, Automation, or related field (Master's in Automation/Robotics a plus).
- Experience in industrial automation, smart manufacturing, or IIoT projects.
- Technical skills: OPC UA, MQTT, IT/OT networks, OT cybersecurity, CSV, Grafana, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Mansioni
- Support digital engineering and IIoT project delivery
- Verify equipment testing (FAT/CAT) against approved requirements
- Manage IIoT Gateway deployment, from procurement through installation
- Support site/affiliate readiness, commissioning, and qualification
- Coordinate with OEMs, system integrators, and technology vendors
