Job summary

Mercury is seeking an ICT Project Manager to lead telecommunications infrastructure cabling projects in Milan, Italy. You will manage client expectations, site operations, project schedules, and costs while coordinating sub-contractors and ensuring quality and safety standards across multi-site engagements.

The role requires 3-5 years in a similar position, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to travel freely within Europe.

Responsibilities

• Understand and manage client expectations and specifications for telecoms infrastructure cabling on the project.
• Manage day-to-day site operations including safety and quality.
• Oversee project schedule and costs (labour, materials, procurement, plant, variations, valuations).
• Manage sub-contractors and track progress against plan.
• Attend site meetings with client and internal team; implement company procedures; ensure proper change management; close out project items with the project team.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role

• Fully Understand and Manage client expectations and specifications of Telecommunications Infrastructure Cabling on the Project.
• Management of all day-to-day site operations including Safety & Quality
• Management of Project Schedule
• Management of all costs associated with Project including:
• Labour
• Material and Procurement
• Plant and Equipment
• Variations
• Valuations
• Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and staffing levels.
• Attendance at Site Meetings, with client and internal team.
• Develop and implement company procedures with the team.
• Ensure change management is handled correctly (Cost & Programme).
• Close out of all project items including Final Account, O & M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Material and Plant re-locations, Project Plan – all with the Support of your Project team.
• All other duties associated with this role.

Essential Criteria For The Role

• 3-5 years’ experience working in similar role.
• Extensive experience of Telecommunications Infrastructure Cabling
• Good Computer skills - Windows, MS Office
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well within a team.
• Excellent communication skills
• Essential to be able to travel freely between European countries.

Principali Responsabilità Del Ruolo

• Comprendere e gestire appieno le aspettative e le specifiche del cliente in merito al cablaggio dell'infrastruttura di telecomunicazioni nel progetto.
• Gestione di tutte le operazioni quotidiane del sito, tra cui sicurezza e qualità
• Gestione della programmazione del progetto
• Gestione di tutti i costi associati al progetto, tra cui:
• Lavoro
• Materiali e approvvigionamento
• Impianti e attrezzature
• Variazioni
• Valutazioni
• Gestione delle attività dei subappaltatori, incluso il monitoraggio dei progressi rispetto alla pianificazione e ai livelli di personale.
• Partecipazione alle riunioni in loco, con il cliente e con il team interno.
• Sviluppare e implementare le procedure aziendali con il team.
• Garantire che la gestione del cambiamento sia gestita correttamente (costi e programma).
• Chiusura di tutti gli elementi del progetto, tra cui conto finale, manuali di gestione e manutenzione, elenco delle attività da svolgere, fascicolo di sicurezza, fascicolo di controllo qualità, trasferimenti di materiali e impianti, piano di progetto, il tutto con il supporto del tuo team di progetto.
• Tutti gli altri compiti associati a questo ruolo.

Criteri Essenziali Per Il Ruolo

• 3-5 anni di esperienza in un ruolo simile.
• Ampia esperienza nel cablaggio delle infrastrutture di telecomunicazione
• Buone competenze informatiche - Windows, MS Office
• Ottime capacità interpersonali, capacità di lavorare bene in team.
• Ottime capacità comunicative
• Fondamentale per poter viaggiare liberamente tra i paesi europei.

Criteri Desiderabili

• Certificazione del settore delle telecomunicazioni/ICT
