An international financial institution is seeking an entry-level Information Communications Technology Analyst in Rome. The Information and Communications Technology Division (ICT) drives transformative change by delivering secure, client-focused, reliable and innovative technology solutions that enhance IFAD’s ability to achieve its mission.
The Information Communications Technology Analyst is an entry‑level position that builds expertise in ICT occupations. The Analyst works under the guidance of the ICT Division director and the supervision of an ICT manager or specialist.
The Analyst performs routine and non-routine work with established precedents independently; complex recommendations are developed in consultation with the supervisor or subject matter expert.
1. ICT Business Partner – The Analyst provides verbal and written advice to supervisors and staff on ICT platforms, systems, applications and procedures, facilitating mutual understanding of issues and roles in managing IFAD’s ICT environment.
2. ICT Expert – The Analyst supports the development of an in‑depth knowledge of ICT strategy, principles, standards and systems and provides routine and non‑routine casework across ICT occupations.
3. Agent of Change – The Analyst promotes acceptance of new methods of work and effective communication skills to persuade and influence managers to adopt change.
4. Managerial Functions – The Analyst is accountable for integrity, transparency and equity in the use of assigned IFAD resources.
Minimum of two (2) years of progressively relevant experience in data and analytics, with a focus on ICT or related fields.
Desirable experience: data analytics management, BI design, data modelling, ETL processes, SQL, Python, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and knowledge of HR and workforce analytics.
Effective maintenance of data integrity, development of analytics solutions, regular corporate reporting, data security management, and system usage monitoring.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, staff, UN and IFI partners, and client offices to provide data‑driven insights and support ICT operations.
