COMAS is a leading engineering company in Silea, Italy, designing and delivering industrial systems for liquids handling, dosing, mixing and processing. The role covers concept-to-detail engineering, piping layouts, and skid-mounted solutions with emphasis on sanitary, CIP/SIP needs.

The candidate will contribute to risk assessments, maintainability considerations, and cross-disciplinary integration while ensuring compliance with safety standards and project documentation.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in the design of industrial process plants, with emphasis on liquids transport, dosing, mixing and processing.
• Good knowledge of Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD Plant and Vault.
• Strong organizational skills and task orientation.
• Willingness to travel on request and fluent in English.

About the Role

• Design and develop industrial systems for the transport, dosing, mixing, and processing of liquids, from concept through detailed engineering.
• Design piping systems, process equipment, supporting structures, and skid-mounted solutions, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and industry standards.
• Develop hygienic and sanitary designs for food, pharmaceutical, and other high-cleanliness applications, considering CIP/SIP requirements, cleanability, and contamination control.
• Perform process and equipment risk assessments, including the safe handling of hazardous, flammable, corrosive, or toxic liquids, ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations.
• Design systems with a strong focus on maintainability, accessibility, ergonomics, operator safety, and ease of inspection and maintenance throughout the equipment lifecycle.
• Produce engineering documentation, including P&IDs, equipment layouts, piping layouts, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate process, mechanical, electrical, automation, and safety requirements into complete industrial solutions.
• Support commissioning, start‑up, troubleshooting, and optimization of industrial process plants.

What You Need to Be Successful

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in the design of industrial process plants, with particular focus on systems for the transport, dosing, mixing, and processing of liquids.
• Good knowledge of Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD Plant and Vault.
• Organized and task-oriented
• Strong focus on innovation and curiosity for innovative solutions
• Available to travel upon request
• Fluent in English

Our Offer

Compensation for this role includes a base salary starting from EUR 45.000, in line with experience. The actual offer may exceed this minimum based on the candidate's qualifications and fit for the role. A range of additional benefits (e.g., insurances, etc.) is also available in accordance with Company policy. The applicable collective agreement is the CCNL Metalmeccanico.
