Argotec in Italy is seeking a Product Development Engineer to drive space projects from concept to production, collaborating with systems engineering, manufacturing, quality and testing teams to deliver reliable avionics and satellite components.

You will lead product design, update technical documentation, support prototypes, run design reviews, manage supplier interfaces, and ensure compliance with ECSS and ISO standards.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in product design and development, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or high-tech manufacturing sectors.
• Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English.

Mansioni

• Lead the design and development of new products from concept to production.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Testing teams to ensure product feasibility and performance.
• Maintain and update detailed technical documentation, including CAD models, drawings, specifications, and test reports.
• Support prototype development and validation through testing, analysis, and iterative improvements.
• Drive design reviews and risk assessments to ensure product reliability and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Interface with suppliers and external partners to evaluate components, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Ensure product compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ECSS, ISO) and participate in certification activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing product performance and implementing design enhancements.
