Quik Hire Staffing seeks a Network Security Engineer for a hybrid role in Cagliari, Italy. You will design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure to protect against cyber threats, monitor traffic, and respond to incidents while ensuring policy compliance.

The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to embed security best practices into network architecture and infrastructure. A strong foundation in TCP/IP and security tools is required.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in network security engineering or similar.
• Proficiency configuring and managing SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
• Strong TCP/IP, routing, and network infrastructure knowledge.
• Experience with penetration testing, threat analysis, and incident response.

• Design, deploy, and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
• Monitor network traffic for anomalies and respond to security incidents in real time.
