Job summary

Copeland in Belluno, Italy is seeking an experienced Field Service Specialist to join our Professional Services team. You will commission, troubleshoot, and optimize refrigeration controls and monitoring systems at customer sites, ensuring successful project execution and high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include on-site and remote diagnostics, programming controller software, supporting new store openings, and training technicians while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Refrigeration, HVAC or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on field service/commissioning experience in controls/refrigeration/HVAC environments.
• Proficient reading of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills with ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel frequently and stay overnight as required.

Responsibilities

• Commission and validate refrigeration control systems at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot and optimize system performance remotely and on-site.
• Configure and modify controller programs per project needs.
• Support new openings, commissioning, and renovations; ensure smooth handover.
• Provide technical support and training to contractors and end users.
• Review electrical schematics, drawings, and technical specs.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineering, and support teams for project success.
• Assist integration of controls with BMS and third-party equipment.
• Document service activities and findings per standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and customer requirements.
