The role involves work with chilled water, tower water, process water, hot water, steam, gas, refrigeration, and compressed-air systems, plus client-facing support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Industrial HVAC and mechanical systems design experience.
• Experience with chilled water, tower water, process water, hot water, steam, gas, refrigeration, and compressed air.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and changing deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to customer facilities.

Responsibilities

Working alongside engineers across multiple disciplines, the Facilities HVAC Mechanical Engineer will take responsibility for mechanical engineering activities across projects involving R&D, production, laboratory, and manufacturing environments. Facilities HVAC Mechanical Engineer / HVAC Mechanical Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent engineering degree.
• Multiple years of industrial HVAC and mechanical systems design experience within a consulting engineering firm or Design/Build mechanical contractor.
• Knowledge and experience with chilled water, tower water, process water, hot water, steam, gas, refrigeration, compressed air, and comfort and process air-side systems.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and changing deadlines effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to customer facilities as required.
• Previous experience with a mechanical contracting firm is desirable but not essential.
• Experience with fire suppression, plumbing systems, or PLC control systems would be advantageous but is not required.
