Qabird, located in Milan, Italy, is seeking a qualified individual to oversee jointing operations and develop new techniques. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety practices and supporting training efforts within the Jointing School.

The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, experience in jointing operations, and excellent communication skills. Benefits include 25 days holiday, a defined contribution pension scheme, and health reimbursement plans.

Competenze

• Hold knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering as they apply to accessory design and assembly.
• Extensive experience of preparing the full range of the Company’s joints, terminations and other accessories.
• Ability to communicate knowledge to all levels of jointing personnel.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
• Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Mansioni

• Oversee and ensure good, safe practice at project sites.
• Prepare and maintain Jointing Section Procedures and Jointing Instructions.
• Develop new jointing techniques and assist with accessory drawings.
• Prepare tooling lists for each project and coordinate with Sales Office.
• Attend projects to ensure jointing works are correctly performed.
• Identify causes of jointing problems and lead solutions.
• Support training functions of the Jointing School.
• Support Jointing Operations Manager.

Conoscenze

Knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering
