Job Outline :

The prime responsibility of the role is to assist the Human Resources Director / Regional Sales Leader in the formulation and implementation of the human resources policy within a geographic location in EMEA. This involves the review of Company policy in line with legislation to ensure appropriate human capital attrition and retention strategies deployed.

The role encompasses the need to be able to build new and maintain existing relationships at all levels and draw upon excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to ensure our talent acquisition programme is successful. The ability to be act as a Business Partner to all areas of the business and support other members as needed is fundamental to the role and the ongoing development of the Company.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain thorough understanding of current employment law and assess the impact within the working environment. Deliver solutions and updates to current procedure based upon legislation changes and assist on topics relating to local Works Councils as applicable.
  • Provide an advisory, counselling and training service to management and all staff in matters relating to human resources management for the provision of good employee relations undertake remedial action if required i.e., disciplinary action, investigatory reviews, attrition
  • Maintain a harmonious motivated and effective working climate and take appropriate action as necessary. Ensure all new initiatives are rolled out in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with Regional Leader on employee lifecycle issues capturing aspects of human capital engagement from recruitment, onboard, career development etc.
  • Able to manage potential areas of conflict within the workplace, leading through to effective resolution by moderation. Provide support to line manager and assist with sensitive issues when necessary
  • Provide a level of support to EMEA Recruitment Manager and geographical Regional Leader as and when required for recruitment within the region either on a role specific or generalist search.
  • Undertake specific assignments that may require the evaluation of various market offerings i.e., recruitment, benefits.
Qualifications
  • Ideally educated to a degree level with recognised Personal Development qualification and a minimum of five years’ experience working within a generalist Human Resources role
  • To display and enact leadership skills, listening to others, coaching and supporting stakeholder alignment.
  • Be a self-starter, extremely focused on achieving the result
  • Ability to think strategically with a high level of detail for tactical execution and multi-task work
  • Displays a sense of urgency, actions request in a timely manner
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills for internal and external application – demonstrates confidence and presents a thorough knowledge of subject area, offers workable / balanced solutions for employees and managers alike
