Reporting to: HR Manager

About the Role

As an HR Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring organizational compliance with labor laws and internal policies while also managing immigration procedures and employee relocation activities. This dual‑focus role supports the companys growth and risk management by ensuring regulatory adherence and enabling smooth international mobility for employees.

You will work closely with legal counsel, external agencies and government institutions to ensure full compliance with Italian labor laws, immigration regulations and the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Additionally you will support all logistical and procedural aspects related to relocation for both incoming and outgoing employees.

Key Responsibilities
Compliance
  • Monitor and audit HR practices to ensure alignment with national and local labor regulations.
  • Regularly review employee records and HR documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Provide guidance to HR and management on compliance‑related matters.
  • Collaborate with legal and regulatory experts to interpret and implement policy updates.
  • Design and deliver internal training sessions on compliance topics.
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports as required.
  • Maintain and update employee handbooks and internal policies.
  • Investigate and resolve compliance‑related issues in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Stay updated on employment legislation and adjust internal practices accordingly.
  • Oversee employee background check processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
Immigration & Relocation
  • Understand and stay current on Italian visa and work permit regulations (e.g., Nulla Osta Blue Card intra‑company transfers).
  • Provide support and guidance for employee visa and residence permit applications.
  • Coordinate residence registration appointments and assist employees during their registration at local immigration offices.
  • Respond to visa‑related emergencies and propose solutions.
  • Handle additional immigration or relocation tasks as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Education
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Labour Relations Law, Human Resources, Business Administration (ADE) or related fields.
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR compliance covering areas such as compensation, flexible working, HR policies and contract management.
  • At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in immigration processes, visa applications, work permits and relocation support.
  • Solid familiarity with Italian immigration procedures is essential.
  • Previous experience in Chinese or other Asian multinational companies or in the automotive industry is a strong advantage.
Skills
  • Deep knowledge of Italian labor legislation and compliance risk mitigation.
  • Strong coordination and communication abilities including collaboration with legal and governmental institutions.
  • High level of service orientation, accountability, confidentiality and precision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • Team‑oriented mindset.
Languages
  • Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken).
  • Chinese language skills are a plus.
  • Additional languages are appreciated.
