About The Role
- Currie & Brown Italy is looking for a Recruiter & HR Officer based in Treviso, responsible for resources across all of Italy on a 12‑month fixed term contract.
- Since 2010, Currie & Brown has supported national and international clients in hospitality, leisure, residential, commercial property, logistics and data‑centre sectors in Italy.
The role: what is it that we require you to do
- As Recruiter: responsibilities include understanding the market, mapping candidates to vacancies, database administration, candidate liaison, interview scheduling, coordination with agencies and job boards, updating recruitment trackers, managing mailboxes, providing weekly statistics to the UK recruitment lead, placing adverts, networking on LinkedIn, representing the company professionally, building candidate relationships, and arranging interviews.
- As HR Officer: responsibilities include managing HR policies and projects in line with strategy and regulations, ensuring compliance, evaluating training programs, improving HR processes, building relationships with hiring managers, integrating new staff, managing payroll, vacation, sick leave and contracts, monitoring performance, communicating with employees, and maintaining updates with the Labor Consultant and London HR team.
What skills and attributes we require from you
- 3–5 years of experience in HR and/or in‑house recruitment.
- Experience supporting and managing a work environment.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and job boards preferred.
- Degree educated preferred.
- Business/Professional level English essential.
- Knowledge of HR systems and IT skills (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, report writing).
- Resilience and ability to handle unpredictable, intense or sensitive situations.
- Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, well‑organised, diligent and proactive.
- A team player with a can‑do attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful and flexible.
