We're actively recruiting an HR Generalist for a long‑term position in Milano, Italy.

Apave Italia is a leading national player in the TIC (Testing, Inspection, Certification) sector. With a strong presence throughout Italy, we support the industrial, civil, and infrastructure sectors in risk management and regulatory compliance.

Our structure includes direct employees and a vast network of approximately external professionals / freelancers, totaling around technical experts. Our areas of specialization include mandatory and voluntary inspections, certifications, and specialized training in safety and technical subjects.

Responsibilities
  • Personnel Administration: Management of contractual documentation and archiving in HRIS / digital systems.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Publication of job advertisements and CV screening. Organization and conduction of selection interviews for operational and white‑collar roles. Support in preparing job offers and during the onboarding phase.
  • Training: Support in identifying training needs. Organization of logistics for internal or external courses. Updating training records and managing company LMS platforms.
  • Employee Relations Support: First point of contact for operational HR queries (holidays, pay slips, policies). Support in the application of the National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL) and current regulations. Support in managing disciplinary or relational issues, if requested by the HR Manager.
  • HR Reporting: Preparation of basic reports (headcount, turnover, attendance). Updating HR KPIs for monthly and quarterly analyses.
  • HR Projects: Support for organizational development and engagement initiatives. Participation in local or global HR projects.
Qualifications

Education & Diplomas

  • Master's degree required.
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role or in HR administrative activities within companies or labor consulting firms.

Technical Skills

  • Intermediate knowledge of labor law and personnel administration.
  • Autonomous use of MS Office and HRIS / payroll management software.
  • Master Excel tools (macros, TCD, etc.), ERP (AIMS or other tools used within the scope).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency in English.
