On behalf of our Client, a global biopharmaceutical company, IQVIA is looking for a HR Business Partner who can join an exciting working environment in a dynamic atmosphere.

Acting as a trusted partner to the Italian leadership team, you will provide strategic and operational HR support to employees across the affiliate, while ensuring alignment with EUCAN and Global HR frameworks.

We are looking for an experienced HRBP who has successfully supported demanding clients in dynamic and fast‑changing environments, with a proven record of contributing to business success by helping identify, prioritise, build, and transform organisational capabilities, behaviours, structures and processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strategic HR Partnership : Act as a trusted advisor to the Italian leadership team, supporting the design and execution of the affiliate people strategy in line with business priorities and EUCAN objectives;
  • Recruitment & Talent Acquisition : Lead end‑to‑end recruitment processes in Italy, from defining hiring needs with line managers, to sourcing, selection, offer management, and onboarding;
  • Workforce Planning & Talent Pipeline : Support managers in forecasting talent needs, succession planning, and building a strong local pipeline aligned with EUCAN priorities;
  • Performance & Development : Drive local implementation of core HR processes (performance management, development planning, career growth), ensuring consistency with global frameworks;
  • Change Management : Partner with leaders to implement organisational changes, providing guidance to managers and employees during transitions;
  • Employee Relations : Act as first point of contact for employees and managers in Italy, providing coaching and advice on performance, development, conflict resolution, and exit processes;
  • Engagement & Retention : Anticipate employee needs, collect feedback, and contribute to initiatives that enhance engagement, wellbeing, and retention in the Italian affiliate;
  • HR Operations & Compliance : Ensure adherence to Italian labour law, HR policies, and procedures; work closely with HR Services to guarantee accurate data and smooth handling of employee lifecycle events;
  • Onboarding & Learning : Deliver and continuously improve onboarding for new hires in Italy; support the rollout of learning and development initiatives;
  • Collaboration : Work in close connection with EUCAN HRBPs and Global HR specialist functions, sharing best practices and ensuring alignment across affiliates;
  • Metrics & Insights : Track and analyse local HR KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to improve organisational effectiveness.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; specialization in HR;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as HR Generalist / Business Partner, ideally within an international company (pharma / healthcare industry preferred);
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations and proven track record in full recruitment cycle;
  • Solid understanding of Italian labour law and HR compliance requirements;
  • Pragmatic, proactive, and results‑oriented, with strong ability to drive initiatives to completion;
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work through ambiguity, and challenge the status quo;
  • High sense of customer orientation and solution‑driven mindset;
  • Strong team player, comfortable working in a culturally diverse and matrix environment;
  • Business fluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken;

WORK LOCATION : Milano.

TYPE OF CONTRACT

Temporary contract, starting with 12 months contract.
