Housekeeping Manager – Rome Marriott Park Hotel

The Russotti Gestioni Hotels Spa company, for its Rome Marriott Park Hotel, is looking for an exceptionally organized and inspiring Housekeeping Manager to join our team. A professional and experienced Housekeeping Manager supports daily shift operations, performs impeccable housekeeping services, and provides guests with a safe, clean environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and organize all daily operations of the Housekeeping Department, including the cleanliness of all guest rooms, public areas, and employee areas.
  • Communicate and coordinate with all departments about daily operations.
  • Ensure supervision, control, and implementation of service and company standards through clear and effective communication with the contracted service provider.
  • Develop and update internal procedures related to department management in alignment with company and service standards, as well as contractual agreements, where services are outsourced.
  • Lead, hire, and train hotel housekeeping staff to adhere to high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
  • Organize work shifts for ordinary and extraordinary cleaning following the main daily activities required.
  • Oversee the Housekeeping Department Budget to define a departmental cost control plan in line with management assignments.
  • Document and communicate to the Front Office in a timely and efficient manner, for example room status or any issue such as room damage or maintenance requests.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is available in stock and in proper working condition, making arrangements for repairs as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
  • 3‑year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related major.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience in Housekeeping Management or a related professional area.
  • Proven experience in managing outsourced cleaning services.
  • Compulsory knowledge of English at level B2. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, Marriott Bonvoy).
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Problem‑solving skills.
