Galleria Vik Milano is seeking a Hotel Director & Brand Host to lead day-to-day operations of a flagship luxury property in Milan. You will inspire an exceptional team, deliver unforgettable guest experiences, and drive excellence across all departments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in luxury hospitality management, fluent in Italian and English, and a proven track record of budgeting, guest service, staff development, and operational excellence within internationally renowned brands.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years in hospitality in a management position within luxury boutique hotels or internationally recognized luxury hotel brands.
• Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory; additional languages a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to build, develop, and motivate high-performing teams.
• Ability to manage multiple departments (Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Guest Services).
• Financial acumen in budgeting, cost control, and profitability.

The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in overseeing the hotel's day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of service excellence while fostering a culture of genuine hospitality, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency.

Position Summary

The Director is responsible for overseeing all operational and administrative areas of the hotel, ensuring seamless daily operations and an exceptional guest experience across every department.

Working closely with the ownership, and department heads, this role ensures that every aspect of the guest journey reflects the property's luxury positioning and personalized service philosophy.

The Director is a highly visible leader, naturally engaged with guests and team members, leading by example and creating an environment where service excellence becomes part of the hotel's culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of all hotel departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, and Guest Services.
• Ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences aligned with the highest luxury hospitality standards.
• Maintain a strong and visible presence throughout the hotel, proactively interacting with guests and anticipating their needs.
• Lead, coach, motivate, and develop department managers and operational teams.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and operational procedures.
• Monitor operational performance, service quality, and guest satisfaction, implementing corrective actions whenever necessary.
• Collaborate closely with ownership on operational initiatives, strategic planning, and continuous enhancement of the guest experience.
• Assist in the management of operational costs while maximizing profitability and achieving budgeted financial objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency without compromising service excellence.
• Promote innovation and remain current with luxury hospitality trends, products, and best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in hospitality in a management position within luxury boutique hotels or internationally recognized luxury hotel brands.
• Previous hospitality management experience in Italy, preferably in Milan.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, develop, and motivate high-performing teams.
• Ability to manage multiple operational departments, including Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Guest Services.
• Financial acumen managing operational budgets, cost control, and profitability.
• Passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing hospitality professionals.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Highly proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented approach.
• Comfortable working closely with hotel ownership and senior leadership.
• Deep understanding of luxury hospitality standards and current industry trends.
• Fluent in Italian and English (both mandatory). Other languages a plus,
