A leading international telecommunications company is seeking a Home Device CPE Senior Engineer to support and develop home devices and services. The role requires an understanding of telecom networks and experience with multi-vendor projects. The ideal candidate has a degree in Engineering and over five years of experience in home device development. What You’ll Do
  • Support CPE/FWA/extenders life‑cycle and testing activities/setup as required
  • Assist other teams/functions during troubleshooting of home devices/customer issues
  • Drive and implement market‑specific features on CPE/FWA/extenders according to requirement definition
  • Develop new devices, services and components toward a consistent and efficient solution
  • Provide technical Home Devices expertise to Group Networks and Group Commercial organizations for new home devices and related services
  • Transfer technical knowledge to Group and Local Marketing teams to facilitate decisions on Homegateways and related services adoption
Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership
  • Analyze and validate product and technical requirements of GN and Group Market deliverables
  • Design Home Device architecture and requirements for new products and services
  • Develop processes and designs across home devices and fixed/FWA solutions
  • Engage with local market teams to identify and execute defined activities
Qualifications
  • Excellent understanding of telecom networks & services (fixed & mobile) with an end‑to‑end perspective
  • Knowledge of FWA solutions (highly valued)
  • Experience with large multi‑vendor (ODMs, Chipsets, Core Network) projects
  • Conceptual & analytical thinking, able to challenge existing solutions and capitalize on innovation opportunities
  • Cooperation within multinational teams and communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • University degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in development of Home Devices and network services
  • Experience working on complex projects/programs
  • Relevant experience in Home Device products and advanced service solutions
