A global leader in healthcare solutions is looking for an experienced Consultant in Milan. The role involves supporting healthcare improvement projects, engaging with stakeholders, and conducting interviews to map challenges in patient pathways. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree, have at least 4 years of experience in consulting for the healthcare sector, and possess strong analytical and communication skills.

Competenze

• At least 4 years experience in consulting specialized in Healthcare.
• Experience in Healthcare Improvement activities within Italian hospitals.
• Proficiency in English and Italian (both written and spoken).

Mansioni

• Support proposal drafting, document preparation, client engagement.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Consultant to join our Implementation Science Team within the Real World Solutions Dept. based in Milan. You will work the on the development and delivery ofhealthcare and patient pathway improvement projects that help our Life Sciences and Healthcare Clients deeply understand the Patient Experience along all phases of the disease and enable better and faster access to care and correct take in charge by the HC system.

Responsibilities

• Support the team with proposal drafting, document preparation, clients’ engagement and project management
• Activate projects, especially Healthcare and patient engagement projects, engaging healthcare stakeholders at Regional, LUHs and Hospital level
• Conduct interviews to General Managers, Chief Medical Officers, Lab Directors, Physicians, Nurses etc. in order to map challenges and improvement opportunities dealing with a given disease, clinical guidelines and real life patient journey
• Map the Patient Pathway, identifying Healthcare settings and provisions, Patient touchpoints and Clinician unmet needs from this perspective
• Develop process improvement recommendations and size their impact, in terms of clinical outcomes, cost of the treatments, social costs,…
• Manage the preparation, execution and follow up of client workshopsWork independently and as part of a team, with responsibility for supervising junior team members

Requirements

• Management Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Economics or Physics degree with strong record of academic achievement
• At least 4 years work experience gained with a consulting firm specialized in the Healthcare sector or with a company of the Life Science Sector active in patient engagement initiatives
• Experience in Healthcare Improvement activities on-the-ground within Italian hospital
• Experience in business development activities for Life Sciences companies / Healthcare institutions is a relevant preferred requirement
• Strong analytical skills and preferable experience in business process re-engineering
• Ability to analyze complex data, draw conclusions and summarize recommendations
• Excellent Microsoft Office Skills: strong skills in working with Excel spreadsheets and creating presentations with Power Point
• Proficiency in English and Italian (both written and spoken)
• Strong communication skills
• Proven stakeholder management experience
• Excellent execution skills, consistently meeting deadlines
• Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines
• Keenness to learn and commitment to a rapid development curve
