WSP, a global leader in environmental consulting, seeks a Health & Safety Engineer to join our Power & Energy Services team in Italy.

Key Responsibilities
- Support engineering activities by applying established principles, collecting, verifying, and correlating technical data, and contributing to design work, technical studies, and report drafting.
- Perform calculations, simulations, and preliminary analyses, preparing technical documentation and project specifications.
- Coordinate with technical professionals, develop and verify project control documents, and provide specialist consultancy in Health & Safety for national and international projects.
- Conduct field visits and audits to ensure HS compliance, carry out technical due diligence, and draft specialist documents such as Risk Assessment Reports, Safety and Coordination Plans, Fire Risk Assessments, and Emergency Plans.
- Develop and update HSE management systems and operational procedures, organize HSE training events, offer technical support throughout all project phases, and participate in meetings with authorities and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in safety, civil, or environmental engineering with specific experience in workplace and construction site safety.
- 5–6 years of experience in safety coordination, fire prevention design, and H&S technical consultancy.
- Excellent knowledge of sector regulations and proficiency in key IT tools such as Office and AutoCAD.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in technical contexts, fluency in English, multidisciplinary and team‑oriented approach.
- Precision, proactivity, organizational skills, willingness to take on cross‑functional tasks, and adherence to professional ethics and WSP’s core values.
