Your Challenge

As part of the Electrification and Automation Sales team, the Head of Sales for the Energy‑Intensive Market will lead the vertical growth strategy in Italy. This role combines business development, strategic planning, and team leadership, with a strong focus on clients in energy‑intensive industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team dedicated to Energy‑Intensive Customers (heavy industry, power generation, data centers), ensuring performance through KPIs and achievement of sales targets.
  • Define and execute commercial strategies to grow market share, manage strategic relationships with key clients, and promote innovative, integrated solutions in collaboration with internal functions.
  • Drive business development by managing complex opportunities with large customers or investors, leveraging cross‑functional capabilities to deliver high‑value, tailored solutions.
  • Identify and cultivate partnerships with complementary manufacturers, partners, or internal business units to co‑develop solutions aligned with customer needs and market trends.
  • Conduct market research and monitor regulatory and legislative developments to identify opportunities and guide strategic planning.
  • Ensure consistent use of Salesforce and other reporting tools to track key sales metrics and support data‑driven decision‑making.
Key Technologies Relevant to the Role
  • Medium and Low Voltage Power Distribution Systems (switchgear, protection devices)
  • Industrial Automation, SCADA, HV Sub‑Station
  • Decarbonization Technologies: solar inverters, energy storage systems, e‑houses, IoT and Power Quality
  • Generator Circuit Breakers, Automation Products
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical, Energy, or Automation).
  • Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in the data center or related industries.
  • Previous experience in leading sales teams and managing commercial strategies.
  • Strategic mindset with commercial acumen and ability to design cross‑functional solutions.
  • Fluent in Italian with professional proficiency in English.
  • Proficient in Salesforce and other sales reporting tools.
  • Eligible to work in Italy.
