Job Description

Mangia’s Resorts is looking for a Head of Maintenance to lead the POMEC department within the Build‑it area. This role offers the opportunity to oversee the full maintenance operations of one of our prestigious properties, ensuring optimal functionality of all facilities and contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facility Oversight: Supervise the condition of all buildings, structures, and MEP systems, ensuring timely repairs and reporting to the Corporate Tech & Maintenance Manager.
  • Guest Area Supervision: Monitor and maintain guest accommodations, amenities, OS&E, and equipment across both Front and Back of House.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Implement and report on the early preventative maintenance program, ensuring timely execution.
  • Technical Coordination: Oversee HVAC, FLS, pools, and recreational facilities, ensuring smooth operations and troubleshooting.
  • Energy & Sustainability: Manage the resort’s energy conservation program and support CAPEX works with external contractors.
  • Team Management: Organize internal team shifts and holidays, submitting proposals to the GM and Tech & Maintenance Manager.
  • Emergency Response: Reside on‑site or nearby to ensure availability for after‑hours emergencies.
  • Daily Operations: Manage the daily intervention list and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Gardening Supervision: Oversee landscaping activities performed by external companies or internal crew.
  • General Support: Execute any additional tasks assigned by the General Manager to enhance guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role within upscale or resort hospitality.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building systems, HVAC, pools, and energy management.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate with external contractors.
  • Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Fluency in Italian; English proficiency is a plus.
  • Availability for on‑site residence and emergency interventions.
  • Experience with CAPEX planning and reporting tools.
