A leading executive search and recruitment consultancy is seeking a Head of Legal to oversee the trading and sales division in the energy sector. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience, Italian qualification as a lawyer, and expertise in drafting contracts. Fluency in English is essential. The position will manage 3 resources and report to the Legal Director.

We have been exclusively retained to source a Head of Legal to oversee the trading and sales division for a business that operates in the energy sector. The role will manage 3 resources and report to the Legal Director.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience, be an Italian-qualified lawyer, admitted to the Bar, and have the following set of skills :

• Drafting and negotiating standard and non-standard contracts in the energy sector, including ISDA / EFET contracts, purchase and sale agreements, long-term power purchase agreements, and energy efficiency contracts, as well as retail contracts and ensuring compliance with consumer protection regulations.
• Experience in corporate law : corporate transactions (e.g. takeover, spin-offs, JVs)
• Experience with industry-related regulatory authorities.

Fluency in English is essential to fill this role.
