Yamamay is seeking a Head of Fashion Design for the Gallarate office. The role oversees concept, development and creative alignment of all product lines, ensuring harmony with the brand. You will lead the design group, manage workflows to meet calendar, budget and strategic targets.

Responsibilities include directing design team operations, conducting supplier scouting, tracking trends, and guiding collections from sketches to technical advancement with cross-functional departments.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience in fashion design leadership.
• Experience in lingerie, intimates or beachwear preferred.
• Experience leading creative teams and end-to-end collections.
• International context experience is highly valued.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and manage design team operations and collection planning.
• Conduct scouting trips to suppliers and trade fairs globally.
• Monitor trends and consumer shifts to feed creative inputs.
• Develop color plans, seasonal concepts, mood boards and style guidelines.
• Lead collections from sketches to technical development with cross-functional teams.
• Create and refine spot prints and all-over patterns for feasibility.
• Review lab dips, color variations and pre-production samples for quality.

Position Overview

Yamamay is seeking an Head of Fashion Design for the Gallarate office. This role will oversee the concept, development, and creative alignment of all product lines.

The selected candidate will ensure stylistic harmony with brand values, drive product innovation, and interpret market signals into distinctive creative proposals. Additionally, they will lead the design group, managing workflows to meet calendar, budget, and strategic targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage design team operations, optimizing resource allocation and collection planning.
• Conduct scouting trips to suppliers, trade fairs, and industry events globally for materials, textiles, and samples.
• Monitor fashion trends, retail dynamics, and consumer shifts, converting them into creative inputs.
• Develop color plans, seasonal concepts, mood boards, and style guidelines consistent with brand identity.
• Guide collections from initial sketches to technical advancement, collaborating with cross-functional departments.
• Create and refine spot prints and all-over patterns, ensuring technical feasibility and proper scaling.
• Review and approve lab dips, color variations, prints, and pre-production samples, maintaining quality and technical standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in fashion design leadership roles, preferably within lingerie, intimates, or beachwear sectors.

Proven track record in managing creative teams and overseeing the end-to-end collection lifecycle.

International context experience highly valued, with strong abilities in interpreting global trends and diverse market needs.
