What you'll be doing
  • Leading and managing the baking team to ensure the efficient and timely production of all baked goods
  • Developing and testing new recipes to expand our product offerings and stay ahead of market trends
  • Ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation are maintained in the bakery
  • Overseeing the ordering and inventory management of all baking ingredients and supplies
  • Collaborating with the management team to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies
  • Providing hands‑on training and mentoring to junior bakers to develop their skills
  • Representing the bakery at industry events and networking with peers to stay informed of the latest trends
What we're looking for
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Head Baker or in a senior baking role within a high‑quality artisanal bakery
  • Proven track record of developing innovative baked goods recipes and managing a team of bakers
  • In‑depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment, as well as an understanding of food science principles
  • Excellent problem‑solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities to effectively manage the bakery team and collaborate with the broader business
  • Passion for creating exceptional baked goods and a deep understanding of the artisanal baking industry
