A global technology company near Cuneo, Italy, seeks a Hardware & Firmware Engineer. Responsibilities include optimizing PCB designs and developing firmware. Responsibilities

• Optimise PCB design
• Scout alternative suppliers/components, select hardware and continuously research best‑in‑class innovative solutions
• Write technical specifications and drawings
• Design and debug firmware (also with external consultants)
• Test and approve, lead communication with external certification bodies and laboratories
• Assure conformity of products to existing regulations and applicable norms
• Lead new development projects and interact with colleagues worldwide
• Participate in meetings with customers to understand needs and find ways to serve them better
• Support operations in automating processes and testing equipment

Desired Background/Competences

• Engineering background in Electronics
• 3–5 years of experience
• Knowledge of communication protocols, SPICE, OrCAD/Eagle, programming
• Experience with firmware development strongly preferred
• Working with SolidWorks and Inventor is a plus
• Fluent in English and Italian, or willing to learn
