Competenze

• Progettare e simulare circuiti di potenza e microonde per sistemi critici.
• Sviluppare schemi elettrici e guidare l'ottimizzazione del layout PCB.
• Condurre analisi di integrità del segnale e prestazioni termiche.

Brain Technologies is looking for a Hardware Engineer – Power & Microwave Design to join the Advanced Engineering team at the Rome site. The resource will contribute to the development of high-reliability electronic systems for complex environments, integrating RF design, power conversion and thermal management.

Responsibilities

• Design and simulate power and microwave circuits for mission-critical systems.
• Develop electrical schematics, select components and lead PCB layout optimization.
• Conduct signal integrity, thermal performance and EMC compliance analyses.
• Support hardware integration, debugging and validation phases.
• Collaborate with mechanical, systems and test teams in a multidisciplinary context.

Requisites

• Laurea magistrale o triennale in Ingegneria Elettronica o Elettrica.
• At least 3 years of experience in power hardware design or RF/microwave.
• Excellent knowledge of SPICE, ADS, Altium or equivalent EDA tools.
• Deep knowledge of DC/DC converters, amplifiers, filters and transmission lines.
• Good knowledge of English; Italian language is a plus.

Competenze preferenziali

• Experience in high-reliability electronics or defense domain.
• Knowledge of DO-160, MIL-STD-461 or ECSS standards.
