Exor International S.P.A. — Hardware Development Engineer role based in Bari with occasional travel to the San Giovanni Lupatoto (VR) office. You will design hardware for IoT devices, create schematics and PCB layouts in Altium, manage BOMs, and prototype testing.
Collaboration with firmware for HW/SW integration is essential. You will ensure EMC/EMI compliance and support manufacturing with DFM/DFT, while pursuing new technologies to reduce costs.
The Hardware Development Engineer, working with the HW Research & Development team, is primarily responsible for developing electronic boards for HMI and IoT products, through CAD design and technical documentation analysis.
Design and develop hardware for IoT devices.
Create electrical schematics and PCB layouts using CAD tools (Altium).
Manage component selection and BOM creation.
Develop and test hardware prototypes.
Collaborate with the firmware team for hardware/software integration.
Perform debugging and diagnostics on electronic boards.
Ensure compliance with EMC/EMI, safety, and technical standards.
Support manufacturing in product industrialization (DFM/DFT) and supplier relationships.
Identify new technologies to improve products and reduce costs.
Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields.
Knowledge of Altium Designer CAD software.
Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility and ability to approach applications in multiple sectors.
Ability to work in a team.
Bari, with availability for travel to the San Giovanni Lupatoto (VR) office.
Full-time, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
