Job summary

SPEA, a world leader in automatic test equipment for semiconductors, seeks a Junior Hardware Product Engineer in its R&D Hardware team in Italy. You will design cables, motherboards and service boards, define hardware architectures and validate hardware with an emphasis on signal integrity.

Master’s degree in Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering is required. Proficiency with Mentor, OrCAD and AutoCAD is essential; English for technical specs is needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Proficiency in drafting electrical schematics and layouts.
• Hands-on experience or academic knowledge of Mentor, OrCAD and AutoCAD.
• Design cables, motherboards and electronic service boards.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end hardware development of SPEA testers.
• Design cables, motherboards and electronic service boards providing critical signals.
• Define hardware architecture of service instruments for high performance.
• Serve as technical contact for internal departments on hardware solutions.
• Perform hardware debugging and validation to ensure signal integrity.
