A technology services provider is looking for an experienced Data Center Technician for freelance work in Piacenza, Italy. You will support critical infrastructures at server facilities by performing hardware installations and troubleshooting issues. Applicants should have over 2 years of data center experience, strong cabling skills, and the ability to lift over 50 lbs. This on-site role offers flexible scheduling and competitive rates of €20-28 per hour depending on experience.

Competenze

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro).
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in raised floor environments.

Mansioni

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes.

Conoscenze

Cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber)
